Who is responsible for your information?

Information we collect
We collect your name, email address, answers to the 24 questionnaire items, calculated scores, workstyle profile, cohort details and the date you completed the profile.
Why we use it
We use this information to calculate and provide your workstyle profile, support development conversations, produce individual and group reports, administer training cohorts and, where relevant, locate and include your existing profile in another development cohort.
Your name and email address are required so that your result can be identified accurately and distinguished from other delegates. Without them, you cannot complete the online profile.
Our lawful basis
We rely on legitimate interests to deliver and administer relevant workplace-development activities for Vigour, the organisation commissioning the activity and participating delegates. We limit use of the information to these development purposes and balance these interests against your rights and expectations.
Who can see your information?
Your information may be accessed by authorised Vigour administrators and facilitators and, where appropriate for the agreed development activity, the commissioning client or designated facilitator. We also use technology and hosting providers acting on our behalf to operate and support the system.
A delegate using the questionnaire can see only the individual profile produced from their own submission. Delegates cannot browse or retrieve another person's answers, profile, contact details or the combined group report.
If a service provider processes personal information outside the UK, we require appropriate safeguards in accordance with UK data-protection law.
How long we keep it
We normally retain identifiable profile information for 36 months after your most recent relevant cohort or use of the profile. After that, we delete it or anonymise it unless we need to retain it for a legal or regulatory reason.
Automated profiling
The system automatically converts your questionnaire answers into workstyle scores and a descriptive profile. It does not make decisions that have legal or similarly significant effects, and the profile must not be used as a recruitment or selection test.
Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, you may have the right to ask for access to your information, correction of inaccurate information, deletion, restriction of use, transfer of information, or to object to our use of it. You have the right to object to processing based on legitimate interests.
To exercise a right or ask a privacy question, email enquiries@vigourtraining.com. We may need to confirm your identity before acting on a request.
Complaints
Please contact us first so that we can try to resolve your concern. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint.
